A red carpet event took place two nights ago (29th April) for the upcoming film titled “Love of Rock Paper Scissors”, which stars Park Shin Hye and Yoon Kye Sang as its main characters. The event took place at the CGV Theatre Yeongdeungpo branch in Yeongdeungpo-dong, Seoul. Besides the main actors Park Shin Hye and Yoon Kye Sang, an impressive supporting entourage of celebrities including Kim Yoo Jung, Jin Goo, On Ju Wan, Kim Ji Hoon and many others were present at the event to support the upcoming film.

“Love of Rock Paper Scissors” follows the story of Woon Cheol (played by Yoon Kye Sang) who seems to have an endless stroke of bad luck with women and one day, he meets the woman of his dreams, the perfect Eun Hee (played by Park Shin Hye). The short film is shot in an unique and special manner to suit the romantic theme of the story.

Through a series of different events and situations, “Love of Rock Paper Scissors” fully represents and models a very real image of the characters presented in the film, and the audience could expect to watch a very fulfilling and interesting work.

“Love of Rock Paper Scissors” also marks the first love comedy film that director Kim Jee Won has attempted to produce, which also explains why there has been so much hype about its upcoming release. The film officially started showing in cinemas nationwide yesterday, on the day of the press conference.

Park Shin Hye and Jang Keun Suk to be in new drama together?

Rumors had been going around that Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye would be filming a new drama together. However, there wasn’t much information to be found… until just recently.

According to the webpage shown below, the pair who starred in the popular drama You’re Beautiful may be working together again on a (South) Korean adaptation of Yo soy Betty, la fea (I am Betty, the ugly). It would be called Nan Chuaghan Betty Ojeon (I Am Ugly Betty).

The original Columbia telenovela has had many successful adaptations in many countries since it sparked interest worldwide. Internationally, many people may be more familiar with the American English title, Ugly Betty.

At this point, there seems to be no official news. I can’t even say if the Korean version will follow the original Columbian series or the American version (or use parts of Ugly Betty, as a few countries have done.)

In any case… if Jang Keun Suk and Park Shin Hye are confirmed to be in this project, it will surely be a big hit.

Shared on July 6, the photo was taken at the filming shoot for the drama near Youngdeungpo in Seoul. 

Park Shin Hye and her co-star, Bong Tae Gyu rode a motorcycle for the scene, but the photo showed Park Shin Hye fooling around while getting into character.

Park Shin Hye’s company, 4Him Entertainment, said “Please look forward to Park Shin Hye’s new transformation into a ghost who is livelier than anyone else.” 

Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost is a story about Moon Gi (Bong Tae Gyu) who wakes up at a hospital with all of his memory gone. An adorable ghost named Yeon Hwa (Park Shin Hye) begins following him around. 

The drama will air on July 15 on KBS.

Park Shin Hye, who was chosen as the cover model for the magazine BEAUTY+, showed endless sides of her while filming for the photo shoot.

One representative from BEAUTY+ said, “We knew Park Shin Hye had nice skin but when I was looking at the photos taken I was confused if the picture was edited by someone because her skin was so clean and nice. I don’t know if it’s because of her clear skin but we just put on one eyeliner on and we’re able to complete the smokey makeup.”
